Lost Power
Decommissioned generators located at the Niagara Parks Power Station.
In Bloom
Shoutout to my friend Ricky for posing for this one.
Budding Consciousness
Several Magnolia buds preparing to open in the early spring.
Untitled
Something about this feels very retro-futuristic, at least to me.
Urbana Castillo
A building in the midday sunlight.
An Evening Walk
Afternoon Coffee
Several patrons sitting in a coffee shop in the mid-afternoon.
Paranoia
A tree in the woods with several knots that look like eyes.
Toronto From Within
An image at a part of the Toronto city skyline from the ground level, just outside the old city.
In Summary
I always love photos like this. They feel contemplative, final.
A Stone’s Throw
A man skipping a stone over a lake.
Futureland
Another silhouette that makes me think of 1950s retro-futurism.
A Day in the Park
Just a comfortable photo I took wandering around parks in Toronto. The day really was perfect.
Looking to the Future
The little chemtrail from the thing in the sky, the colors, and the general shape of the buildings here makes me think about 1950s retro-futurism: chrome-plated everything and smooth, rounded edges with sharp points.
Late Afternoon In Spring
Taken at Niagara Falls. This is kinda how I expect seeing the Golden Gate Bridge in the morning must feel.
Day as Bright As Night
The sun shining through tree branches during the middle of the day.
Perpetual Rainbow
I have to wonder if the rainbow always shows up at Niagara Falls as long as it’s sunny out. There’s so much mist in the air here.
Eye of Heaven
A photo of a total solar eclipse taken through the clouds at Niagara Falls, April 2024.
Cooper
Just a really good photo of a dog I found.
A Minute In Niagara
A long-exposure shot of the walkways at Niagara Falls on the day of the solar eclipse, 2024.
Off-Kilter
No matter how you try and reconcile this photo’s rotation, something seems off, at least to me.
The Dry Oasis
A small tree surrounded by rocks in a busy city.
Faerie Circle
I found it very difficult to get a good photo of this particular faerie circle that encompassed the magic I felt from it. So I looked up instead.
Outclassed and Outmanned
An mid-rise warehouse or factory eclipsed in the background by massive high-rises.
The Barge
This barge has apparently been stuck in the river near Niagara Falls for years and years. It’s supposed to have rusted away and fallen apart by now, but I suppose it’s taking its sweet time.
Waiting for the End
I can picture couples sitting here during a summer’s night, watching the city lights come on one by one.
Sunset Transmitter
Osheen
A very good, very old cat.
New, Old, and Older
Watching
A knot on the side of a tree that looks suspiciously like an eye.
Relaxing, or Waiting
Sometimes I think a lot about whether I’m actually relaxing, or just waiting to go somewhere else and pretending to relax. This person seems like they’re doing the latter to me.
Street Food
A Bit Dim
A number of light bulbs strung among fake flowers.
Daydreaming
Bereft
I couldn’t help but chuckle as I came across this sign for a community garden out of season.
Forest Within A Forest
A small group of plants growing through moss.
